Fake Is Still Fake

Botox. Plastic surgery. Implants. I really hate all of that. Even more, I hate the message it sends out. If you aren't absolutely perfect then there is something wrong with you. Whatever happened to people wanting to be unique? Flaws can be beautiful.

Instead we have 14 year old girls skipping meals & playing with laxatives in order to try to attain the perfect body. Perfect, meaning nearly invisible. A meal is taboo to a lot of young girls & that is just sick.
What happened to raising girls with a healthy body image instead of helping to peddle a distorted view?

As for growing older, I say fight it as much as you can & then embrace the rest. Botox, implants, nip/tucking for a man? Hell no! If he wants a younger woman he does not want a 45 year old that looks 25- he wants the 25 year old period. Let him go get one while you find yourself a real man.

Thank goodness .......
Bobby loves my stretch marks ... touch of Shirley Valentine!
He wasn't keen for me to have a nip and tuck, but it wasn't my health he was worried about .... oh no, not Bobby ...... it was the cost (LOL)
I agree with you whole heartedly. Women have curves. We were not meant to walk on like tooth picks.
Barbie is the root of all evil!

Preach it Sister! *although I do admit to "pickling" myself nightly so that I can attempt to continue to look younger :0)*
Girls will be girls, we all primp at times!
I go to bed like an oil slick; moisturised from top to toe, but you girls, remember I'm a booba and probably old enough to be a mother to you all. (sob, sob, sob)

Nicole: Go away.
Isabella: Ignore her. :)
I like Chloe's "euro trash" comment. I think it says it all.
Nicole, go away
Any lip collagen? Ms. Wallace
Anyone take a look lately at the crap the media is passing off in bookstore magazine racks as "Womens Interests"?
Tons of magazines on hair, clothes, shoes, make-up, how to be a contortionist to please your man...and not too much by way of hobbies, current events, womens' issues. Why is this?
It IS all Barbie's fault. (lol)
